On Wednesday, December 21, 2022, Julie moved with us from a 3-bedroom apartment on Gladstone 89 Kooyong Rd, Armadale to a new residence on 6 Kitchener Rd, Croydon
The apartment had 3 levels of stairs. We utilized our 6.5-ton truck for this move with 2 moving men. The total cost of Julie’s move was $560 including GST and stair fees.
Originally, Julie had requested a 4.5-ton van for the move. However, upon our recommendation, this was changed to a 6.5-ton truck. The van would not have been able to accommodate large items like her lounge set or upright fridge.
In the end, Julie was happy with the 4.5-ton truck for the move and felt the total cost of $400 was reasonable. The larger truck allowed all of Julie’s belongings to be moved in one trip up and down the 3 flights of stairs. Our movers were able to safely transport all of Julie’s possessions to her new home on Kitchener Road.
