On 27 June 2023, we completed a local move for Suzanne from her 2-bedroom apartment in Seaholme to her new 2-bedroom apartment in Oakleigh, Victoria. The total distance between the two residences was approximately 32 km.

Since both apartments had lift access, we utilized a 4.5-ton truck and a 2-person moving team to transport Suzanne’s belongings. The main items we moved included 2 Queen beds, a 6-seater dining table, a fridge, a washing machine, 2 chests of drawers, a coffee table, a couch and some smaller items.

We arrived on-time at 10 am sharp to begin loading up the truck at Suzanne’s Seaholme apartment. The move took longer than expected, nearly 3 hours, as both apartment buildings had lifts that were located far from the parking area. Additionally, there was quite a walk from the lifts to reach Suzanne’s old and new apartments.

Despite the challenges, our professional movers worked diligently to safely transport all of Suzanne’s possessions. By 1 pm, we had successfully unloaded the truck and moved everything into her new Oakleigh residence.

Suzanne was very understanding about the extra time needed and thanked our movers for their hard work and care in moving her belongings. She appreciated our effort in getting the job done properly despite the constraints at both apartment buildings. We were happy to provide Suzanne with a smooth and stress-free moving experience.
