On Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024, John relocated with us from her 4-bedroom single-story house on 12 Melinga Cres, Mornington to a new double-story house on 16 James St, Frankston. Knowing it would be a sizeable move from one 4-bedroom home to another, we advised booking a 6.5-tonne truck with 3 men, as several heavy furniture items would need to go upstairs in the new house.

John was initially considering a smaller 4.5-tonne truck to save money, but we explained that would likely be too small for a full home move of this size. Taking our advice, she booked the larger 6.5-tonne truck with 3 movers.

The moving team arrived on time at 8 am sharp on the scheduled moving day. They worked efficiently in packing up John’s belongings from 12 Melinga Cres, Mornington house and transporting everything to her new Frankston home. With multiple heavy items like couches, beds, and dressers that needed carrying upstairs, having 3 movers was the right call to get the job done smoothly.
